I have a Tascam 388 that has started playing a center panned signal more on the left side than the right. Strangely, if only one channel has the L/R assign pressed the signal will play pretty much in the center, but if more of the assign buttons are pressed (with the faders down) the original signal will be more on the left side. The more assign buttons pressed, the more on the left side the signal will be. Does anyone have any idea why this would be?
There was a spill on the console portion of the unit recently. I had thought nothing internal had gotten wet, but now I'm thinking it must have.
