I'm kinda new to this and I want to know how to "Hear" a room and determine how to treat it. My room is 93.5 sq ft spare[spare???] bedroom and it pings a bit with a strong hand clap. How did you guys figure out room treatments??? What should I listen for???

I got an OLD Mackie CR 1604 with the intent of recording 16 tracks with said mixer. Only 8 direct outs...6 XLR's....and I only have experience with all-in-one DAW's. Hep!!!!:eek:Hep me pease!!!!!!:D
