Im looking to get a mixer to record drums and then send it into my mbox. i know how to do this but im curious if anyone has any suggestions as far as a board with quality preamps. im thinking of a mackie with firewire interface so i can send the individual tracks into their audio interface and...

Is this a good mic, i think ive heard good things about it and i really need a condensor mic. Its also a plus thats its relatively cheap. Can anyone give me any advice? Is it good as an overhead mic, and vocals?

OK this is a very similar post to the one about fuzzy vocals but slightly different. Im looking to get a very "strokes" ish sound from vocals and guitars. Are there any techniques you guys would suggest? I have pro tools le and a fairly limited set of plugins, amplitube, t-racks, autotune, etc...

i am just starting to record drums, and i was wondering if it would wrk to use a pa mixerfor the inputs and send that directly to my mbox(pro tools). the mbox only has 2 inputs so drums are out of the question. im not exactly sure what kind of mixer it is, becuase it is my friends. thanks
