i bought this cheep guitar and i haven't had my tech look into it yet.iIt tunes up ok but even in the open chords it goes sharp .Not much fun to play.Do you think it can be saved?:confused:

Well i wasn't gunna buy anything for myself till i found a guy selling this little guitar i was thinkin of getting later on.Its a yamaha cg171sf 350$... He had it up for sale for 175$w/hard case..So i low balled him at $120 and got it for that price.:p i had to buy it at that price.2 months old...

I think we have allready talked about this.But if i lower the strings a tad in the nut by making the grooves deeper will it effect the intonation

well i didn't want to buy something made in China but the other electric resonator guitar from National goes for around 1500$.I bought a Jay Turser?JT-Res for only 230$:cool:I hope i can get the intonation setup right .Other than that its cool.I saw Lindsey Buckingham playing the National and...

i want to get a guitar amp simulator for Rock music.Not to much on the metal side.I was thinkin of the vox tonelab.Just for studio use.Something with good mellow distortion not that buzzy kind.
