most thrift stores in dallas sell them for 1 or 2 dollars. I have seen them at others for 5 and up depending on what they were and the quality, but the average thrift store price is less than 3 bucks. check in your city.
you're better off with something else. my 3100 pro also has a loud his even at 50 prercent volume. also with phantom power I get low levels with my oktava mc319 so I don't plug mics into it anymore. for line levels its great though. I use it with the studio pack.
I was recently given a pair of 12" speakers (eci legend ix) and can't find info on them. they are old and the foam around the woofers has dry rotted. I wanted to know if there was any way to replace the speakers to make these into a useable pair of speakers for my studio. maybe as a playback set...
