can you run 2 separate video cards and get the same effect as one dual monitor video card?? is it supported in win 98 se or xp pro or is it not possible??

You can do all that under XP as long as the driver for the videocard is supported under XP.

You might want to think twice about running 2 separate video cards in any system rather than running one dual head card. The problem is, you'll end up running one card in the AGP slot and the other will be forced to run on the PCI bus, eating up valuable PCI bandwidth. Many people also experience problems in bandwidth intesive situations while recording, where screen redraws come into place which often results in system crashes. I strongly suggest that you consider buying a dual head video card such as the Matrox G-450 millenium. They are VERY affordable and will save you a many headaches.
