Hello smart fellas,
In cakewalk:
i'm mixing down my audio tracks, exporting to wav file, but winslows media player cant fuckin play 'em, keep givin' me error 80040200.
What if you play 'em in another player (eg. Winamp, etc...) ?
To ensure it can be played on any available media player, you need to save / export it as 16 bit RIFF wave format (or 128kBit 44.1kHz MP3). Otherwise (higher than that) could causes media won't play the wave (in some case)
I just did a quick search and found this . It sounds as though you aren't saving it in a format that can be played by Windows Media Player. As Jaymz said, Broadcast or RIFF Wav at 16bit/44.1Khz. Or encoded it in mp3 format (and K bit/sec) should play.
