We love our DP-24 and for the most part it is working out great for us.

We move the files from the DP-24 to a DAW for mixing

The problem I am having is this: If we punch in on a track then when the files are moved that track is actually several wav files as opposed to one file the length of the entire song. So lining this up can be a bitch (espescially with vocals).

Now it is entirely possible that I'm doing this wrong but it has worked well so far witht he exception of punch in's.

If I bounch the track with punch in's to a different track will it then be one continuous file when I go to dump them into the DAW?

Have you tried that? My guess is that will work.

I have not tried it yet - I thought about it on the way into work this morning.

I've never bounced a track on the DP-24 before but it looks pretty simple going by the manual. I'll let you know how it works out.

It's extremely simple. Go for it and let us know how it turned out.

I believe if you use the "Track Export" function each track is assembled into a single file before exporting.

Just curious as to whether or not this was resolved.

On the 788 (yeah I know, ancient technology) EXPORTING the tracks as WAV files gives you each track as a single WAV file, with all edits/punches/etc assembled together.

Was the OP doing something with the tracks besides exporting them as WAV files? Maybe placing the SD card directly into a computer?

Thanks in advance.
