Nothing wrong with showing people how you work. I do think when you call yourself "teacher" it implies a certain level of knowledge and that may have led to some of the side discussions here. You also probably need a higher quality of 2-bus audio on the video if you expect people to hear what you're doing while you do it.

I'm no teacher (far from it ) but I do try to print the audio in a way so people can hear what I'm doing when I pass along tips.

I wanted to post links to YouTube that kind of demonstrates what I meant about the audio, two posts above. If you go back to my first post above you'll see the links. I guess what I'm saying is there's nothing wrong with showing people how you work but without some kind of decent reference audio it often comes off more as a lecture than a tutorial.

So get a decent video editing app and capture your audio the way you hear it.

That would be Miroslav Vitous, a Czechoslavakian bass player who sort of knew Jan Hammer in Czechoslovakia when there was a Czechoslovakia and came to America and made albums with people that were big players or went on to be big players in the then nascent jazz rock fusion scene. He was an original member of Weather Repert but his playing used to drive Joe Zawinul nuts.
I saw him in concert many years ago with Stanley Clarke playing electric bass while he played double bass. It was boring as painting stripes on the motorway. I have to say, having had and heard his stuff and seen him live, I've never been even remotely impressed. Until Miroslav Philharmonik, that is. He's redeemed himself for that !

True anecdote...

About 3-4 years ago...Miroslav Philharmonik (whoever sells the product, I forget) started a marketing campaign in magazines and websites using the name "Miroslav Music".
I found their contact info, called them and pointed out to them than the name "Miroslav Music" was already in use by me for a few years prior, and it was also a registered domain name, and I would appreciate it if they didn't use it.
The person said thanks for the info, and that they would look into it.
A couple of months later...their magazine adds/website no longer used that term "Miroslav Music".

I almost expected them to just ignore my request and stick with it...but they were cool about it.

IK Multimedia. They do a few pretty decent VSTis like Sampletank, Sonik synth and other bits and pieces. I like them.
