Protools upgrade - D-Verb crackling

Hi all,

I recently upgraded from Protools 7.4 to Protools 8.
On Every Session, with every track that has D-Verb on it, I'm getting horrendous crackling. If I bypass the D-Verb the crackling stops, so I've narrowed it down to that.

Any ideas? It's doing my head in.

this may be a little help but try reinserting the plugin instead of bypassing?

Thanks for that, but that was the first thing I tried and it didn't make a difference. I don;t even know what could be causing it.

What is your buffer size set to under "setup" > "playback engine"?

Buffer size set at 512.

I had the same problem with Sonar Producer and a Lexicon Reverb and had to re-install to get it to work. It was really weird and the only plug in I had a problem with.
I also had problems with the setting removing dc offset while recording causing pops and crackles.
