Why not just cut right to the chase and set the kit up in the middle of the highway and then play until a big van runs you over at 70 mph? You could call it the "Literal Road Kill Tour".

Then you could also make a video of it and call it the "Just Another Bunch of Jackasses Wanting Their 15 Minutes On meTube" tour video.

Better idea! Get a band and like 10 of your friends to hold mics and gear and record it jumping out of an airplane in a lightnight storm obviously (you'll need some way to power the gear).... WITHOUT PARACHUTTES!@1!!#@

The rumour on the wire is that all the record company execs don't want to take it on. Someone was heard to refer to it as 'slightly out of time.....'.
The wipers stopped working on the van !

Change of plan as my drummer is a FUCKING PUSSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I have uploaded the footage of our disaster, you may find it funny, (like me) or you may find it completely solemn (like my douchebag band)


We have to do it again in the car (very small hatchback - 1.0 2006 corsa)
have to take the parcel shelf out, put half the kit in there, no bass drum, just snare and hi hats (i know, fuck sake) and hopefully there will be enough room for the rest of us to play, oh and only 1 mic now because one of them broke (i'll explain later) plus theres no room for the fucking mixer.

We tried to film this on the 19th, but unfortunately we couldn't secure the drums, so everytime I broke, the drum kit literally fell over and dinted one of his sabian symbols, he's now using my brothers cheap ass rusty kit.

Nobody was BADLY hurt, however due to the sandpaper floor in the van, our drummer grazed his knee and refused to play any more, so we had to stop. Fucking pussy!

p.s I hurt my stomach from laughing so much (nobody else laughed at all, not even a giggle) - lousy jerks.

The drum mic is now unusable, don't know why, just stopped working, I assume the vibration has fucked it somehow.

So Im only using the one mic, im taping it to the dash in the front of the car, and I guess i'll just sing loudly and compress it.


The good news however is, since we're in the car, we can do about 115mph in a straight, so let's see what happens, i'll put one camera on the speedometer and one fish eye camera on the dash, behind the mic, should show everything you need to see.

The thread ended 16 months ago, Old skool has barely been heard of since and given that no one ever saw any of the supposed footage that Dave claimed to shoot {one would have to ask at what point in such an episode footage could have been shot} because from day one the link was a dud, it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility that the whole thing was a wind up joke which is how most people in this thread treated it.
So calm down there, Stevieb. Remember the pledge !
