Saw this one the other day, had about 3 hours left on it, highest bid was $95.00 so I bid $100.00 and crashed. Checked it when I got to work the next day, and much to my surprise. I won...

UPS dropped it off today, I've only spent about 20 minutes with it so far, but I see it was money well spent.

Congratulations! And I mean that in the "that sucks, I wish it had been me but congratulations anway" kind of way... :D

P.S. Speaking of Creamyapples & eBay--didn't I see some mics from you on the 'Bay? How're they moving?

That amp is solid state right? If so I think I remember it being one of the best SS amps I'd ever heard.

After spending the night with it, I don't ever want to let it go. It's been a long long time since I've had spring reverb and it's never sounded so good.

WhiteStrat: I haven't checked on them since wednesday morn, but there's a bit of interest. There's actually a bet between a buddy and I. He's in love with the mics, as am I, but I'm not so convinced as he is about how much they'd go for. He bet me dinner @ Texas Roadhouse that they'd sell for the current BIN or higher in Auction. I can't see it happening so I couldn't pass it up.

Jonny: Yup, it's SS. and your estimation is not far off. This thing sounds beautiful.

Good deal!!! I paid a bit more for mine but it's a great small ss amp. It's a fairly decent amp for recording too (surprising for a ss.) If you really want to make it as sweet as possible, drop a set of JBL speakers in it. Enjoy it, you got a good deal.

Sweet...so you win either way. A) Decent price for the mics, or B) 24 oz Porterhouse (my personal preference!). :D

That's a big piece of meat.... *waits for the comments* lol. Yes, I win either way. We'll see how it goes lol. If they do sell, I'll just buy more. :D
Still can't see it though.

I don't suppose anyone has a Channel/Chorus two button footswitch for a princeton they want to get rid of do they? I need one, pls.

oh, I've also got my superstrat mod kit to finish up this weekend. I can't wait to get that done too. Guitarfetish hooked me up pretty good. I got lipstick style pup for my neck though. As you can see, I'm pimpin a white strat too! heh

game----set----match.

I should get points for the assist yeah?

Absolutely: one for you, two for me!

And I noticed that white strat in the top pic--looks like home to me! (mine's got a maple neck, but you get the point).

Good luck with the mod. I'm really lovin' mine.

That Princeton looks a lot like a Fender Deluxe 85 I have-only difference is no chorus and a single 12" speaker with 60 watts of power, and it has red knobs-really light little amp. It also has really nice clean tones, and a passable distortion for blues or rock & roll stuff-but I had to work with it to find the sweet spot.
I guess I'm in the white Strat club too, heres mine hanging out in the yard last spring..

Anfontan--

Sweet ride there. And Strat's are good with yardwork aren't they? :D

Nice! I feel a request for a new forum section brewing. "White Strats and GB mics". Catchy, yeah?

I used to have an old Red Knob one of those and it was an alright amp.

I've got the same exact amp,I bought it new.I always thought I was nuts for thinking it sounded so good being as it's solid state and all,but after awhile I noticed quite a few good reviews on it over the years and consider myself lucky for hanging on to it.The chorus is subtle and sweet, not really suited for wacky far out stuff. The distortion is nothing special but the amp really plays well with pedals. The cleans are great,I think of this as a mini Jazz Chorus by Fender.:D
