Tascam 244 Questions

I recently got a 244 and have been fooling around on it, but I didn't get a manual. Had a few questions. I can't seem to tell any difference in panning when using the cue section. :confused: Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Also, I've recorded some instrumentation on trk 1 and went to overdub on trk 2 and somehow recorded over track one (?) I really like the quality of this unit (this thing is rock solid and seriously built to last!) but I wish I knew how to use it properly. Can anyone throw me some pointers!?? Thanks and Cheers,

I think the CUE monitor on the 244 is mono in the cans but stereo on the RCA outputs. I'd have to verify that, 'cause it's just off the top of my head & it's been a while.:eek::eek:;)

Hey, the 244's a great unit. Every gear addict needs at least one!:eek::eek::eek:;)

Well, This gear addict now has 2 and a 3rd one (for parts) in the mail! Geez, Look how fast I move!! :D:D:) I better stop before my closet comes crashing down and raining Portastudios.Or better yet!.... I hope the Porta-Police don't know where I live. I'll be incarcerated for stealing them all up! :eek:Thanks guys!
