Knows very little
hello, im new to this forum and this is my first post, but there will be more.
i need some help, i just purchased a behringer bcf2000 b-control fader. at the moment, im am only trying to set it up in fl studio and i am having problems.
when i right click over a knob on fruity i select the option to sync with controler(as i do with a midi keyboard with no problems) and i have two major problems. the first being if i select the volume knob on a track and try to sync it with a fader on the control surface i get a bunch of error messages and the program freezes. and if i try to sync the volume or pan knob in the software with a knob on the control surface it only allows my to adjust the levels from "0" to "half".
also i do not know how to sync the record, play, stop, etc. controls to the surface. i do not use fl that much, i am trying to figure this thing out.
i am now using acid 4 and will soon be upgrading to acid 6 and i plan on using the control surface heavily on that software, so i wanted to test it on fruity, plus its nice to have on fl as well.
does anyone have anytips or pointers for me?
is it worth even keeping this thing for acid 6? i want the surface to control playback and record functions as well as using the faders and knobs to set levels for mixing. i hope this will work for that, but i am leary.
i also have cubase and could use it for that.
any help would be greatly appreciated. if this doesnt work out ill have to return it, and i really dont want to drop a grand on the mackie control surface.
thanks for any info.
