XY micstand

ok, not shure if "microphones" is the best section for this question.. none the less.

does anyone know a way to make an adapter to take one boom mic. stand and make it capable to hold 2 mics in XY fasion, (2 condenser "pencil" mics to be exact) without the use of alot of duct tape... thxs :)

This particular one is a little too expensive IMHO, I have several from different companies, the cheapest was less than $10. Any reasonably good sized music store should carry them.

lol, and thanks for the fast reply's, the musicians frien looks easy to make too, I never thought of building it like that.. hmm, thxs :)

Seriously. I heard a kid selling a keyboard and he was telling the customer about how XLR is an old connector style that is being phased out of newer gear because if has quality issues.

Honestly, if I was in a GC and heard a clerk say those exact words, I would go smack him in the head and then take the customer aside and explain a few things.
