you could probably charge clients an extra $50/hr. to sing into that specific mic

...but you don't really seem like the type to do that sort of thing

but...you probably could. lol.

Why? It is just an SM7. It isn't like there is only 1 on the whole planet.

I never understood why anyone would care if a big rockstar used a specific mic. Only bonehead collectors care and only if the mic has credible documentation with it. For all we know, Jackson used every SM7 in the shop at any time during the album. Who really keeps track of this stuff?

He didn't say it would make people better ... he just said that you could. And I bet he's right too! Knuckleheads

I would love to know how it made its way to you Harvey....wonder how many people have owned it between you and Bruce....

Not that big a story:

Bruce bought it new. A few years ago, he sold it to Fletcher (at Mercenary Audio) along with some other stuff. Fletcher sold it to me. I'm gonna sell it back to Bruce.

End of the story.

I used to own a Shure 330, but it didn't sell for $30K. In fact I gave it away in an essay contest.

Harvey, you gotta at least switch windscreens before you ship it back :D

hmmmm...so he sold it....it didnt get stolen or lost or anything.....if he sold it, why would he really concern himself with getting it back?

If Bruce accidentally sold one of the SM7's Michael Jackson used on "Thriller", it would have monetary and historical worth to him, and to a lot of people.

Accidentally being the key word....I admire what you are doing....I would like to think that I would do the same if I were in your shoes....that is, IF he got rid of it by mistake....
