Hi! I just got a Qtek 9100 (HTC Wizard) Pocket PC, and I'm wondering if anybody knows about music software for the Pocket PC platform? I'm really not that much home anymore, so I'd love to make music on the go!

I'm of course talking about the BCF 2000. This has to be the coolest and most practical piece of equipment I have ever bought! It makes mixing much easier! I can sit all day and watch those faders fly away! :D

I just got a Ibanez SDR-1000 for free after helping out on an album. Great sounding piece of equipment (the price considered of course). But I have a hard time programming it, because that damn thing didn't come with a manual. Anybody got any hints or tips? I'm trying to change the "Mode" but...

Oh yes, they did! I subscribe to Computer Music, and they've published the CM Reader Awards 2003. Normally Cakewalk with Pro Audio 9, Sonar 1 and Sonar 2 have been down on 3. place. But this year, with Sonar 3 they're at the top! WHOHO!!!! :D :D :D

Just got it and I love it! Finally a cordless mouse that works! Except for one thing. I think the wheel on the mouse is way too sensitive. I've tried every setting, but it's still too sensitive for my taste. Anybody got the same problem and perhaps know what to do?

I just got a new 160 gig HD and have installed Windows XP and Sonar 3 and the 3.1 patch. But when I hit stop, I have to reset Sonar and restart the audio-engine for the audio engine to work! It's really annoying! What am I doing wrong? It behaves the same for whatever latency-setting I use...

Okay, in two weeks I start my vacation, and will use some of it updating the Cakewalk FAQ, and make an english homepage. BUT it's been quite some time since I've updated the FAQs and people have been telling me what to put in there. But I don't remember any more... Clearly the DirectX 9 issue...

If you're not really sure how you add two or more dB-values, here's a simple calculator I just made (yes, I'm a little bored). It's just for 6 sources (or tracks), but can easily be made for more. And you'll see how the formula is written mathematically... :) It's an Excel-file compressed...

I've used Cakewalk-products for a long time. And one thing I am/was sure about is that Cakewalk products doesen't show you the recorded data (either audio or MIDI, whatever) during recording. Some people tell me that they can get the MIDI-notes to show up in the Piano Roll during recording...
