yeah ... i've used cubase for a couple years now .... and i usually find other methods of timekeeping because i can NOT figure out how to turn down the volume on the tempo track???? its so freaking loud that it hurts in the headphones and even gets VERY picked up my mics on vocals and whatnot...

something i've run into is similar to that. the boss distortions and whatnot don't sound right, but the other effects are great. And on the other hand, on Line 6 gear, the effects suck but the amp modeling (distortion and such) is pretty decent. Me and my friends therefore usually end up...

yikes. sounds like a nightmare. it would seem that you were pretty limited in what you are able to do with it on your end. good job.

very interesting and well played. the only thing that i, personally, would do is ... kill the drum track maybe? idunno - it just kind of comes in halfway through the does nothing else. I'd like to hear a version without it and see if the last half feels any more powerful. just a thought though.

i've always thought Quine is one of the more underrated guitarists. I'm a big fan of the stuff he did with the Voidoids and Richard Hell, personally. i've been meaning to track down a copy of the Velvet Underground Quine Tapes... local record stores suck though.
