how do you adjust the volume of the click?

yeah ... i've used cubase for a couple years now .... and i usually find other methods of timekeeping because i can NOT figure out how to turn down the volume on the tempo track????


its so freaking loud that it hurts in the headphones and even gets VERY picked up my mics on vocals and whatnot ... is there a way to adjust the volume of the click track that is just staring me in the face for the last couple years?

For cubase Sx, you go to the "Transport" menu, and hit Metronome setup.

Voila Volume slider is there

Or if you open the mixer, on the far right is the audition fader. That is generally what the click is going through.
