My band is going into the studio soon and need to work on timing. We want to get a metronome that has an audio out so we can run it through our P.A. What kinds of products are out there that meet this criteria?

what would be a good (cheap) drum machine for making a click with? I mainly like to use a cowbell for a click (as it cuts through better and is less annoying than normal clicks) and was wondering if there is one that is regarded as the best out there?

I've had this problem with nuendo where with some plug-ins, when I open them, the window will be too large and the preview button will be below the screen where I cant to it. The only way to get out of it is to close the program. Does anybody know any wasy to resize the windows in nuendo?

has anybody traded their gibson pickups for some of these? I've been tempted and have heard some praise for them, but it's really a crap shoot buying pickups unheard.

The best I've found seems to be diskfactory.com, but I have no idea what kind of quality they will yield. Does anybody have experience with one of these services?

Do you think this is a wise idea for mixing? I have met a few engineers that do this, but wonder if it will give leave you with bass-weak mixes? I was pondering trying it myself, as bass management is my weakest area in mixing. I use event 20/20 bas, but find the bass response a bit nebulous at...

ok, I have 2 hard drives in my comp. now. what goes where? does my os and audio editor go on the same drive? should I just put all of my music files on the second drive?

I've been offered a digidesign 001 with pro tools LE. Would this be a downgrade from my Layla 24? I know the layla has 96k sampling compared to the digi's 48k.

My vocalist wants a synth to use onstage when my band goes into jams so she can "do something" and participate. She said she wants something that "makes wild sounds," and wants something small. I'm assuming she wants something with oscillators and lfo control, etc. She found something on ebay...
