    Dancing Eyes

Thanks for your feedback, everybody. The lowend must be fine because no one commented on it :) I've tweaked the vocals a little bit going forward. I also agree about the crashes, that's always been sort of an issue. Thanks again!

    Dancing Eyes

I haven't posted here in ages. This was a one day project on Saturday. Start to finish. The main thing I would like a critique on is the low end, kick drum/bass guitar. Anyway, I'd love to know what you think http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?id=17737 Thanks in advance!

    Cliche Pop Rock

Thanks alot for all your comments. I agree, I never do so well with my guitars.

    Cliche Pop Rock

I did this for my old guitar player of mine. DMP3, my berri mixer for the drum tracks beyond what the DMP3 provided. Guitars are all reamped POD XTL, Bass/synths is DI. Vocals are AT4040. This is his first vocal ever, it's not too bad. Maybe a little too much auto tune, but it goes with...

    MOTU 2408 and Behringer ADA8000

I was going to make that suggestion. My father uses the Berri digital mixer with two ADA;s in a live environment, it it works great just sync'd over ADAT. I have the same mixer at home, going ADAT to an old Steinberg card. I was having lots of syncing problems, but Wordclock fixed it like a charm

    8 Channel ADAT Pre-amp for under $500?

If budget is a big concern, the Behringers are great just for adding cheap channels. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

    Another Behringer Truth Problem!!!

I understand this is an ancient thread, but one of my B2031A's is getting this symptom repaired right now. I am lucky enough to live locally to a certified Berri repair shop(Columbus, Ohio), and they said its a bad regulator in the power supply. A $3 part with $50 of man power(they are pricey...

V-amp Pro or Pod Pro XT????

I used a v-amp2 a handful of times and one of the pins in the power connector broke off under careful use. On the other hand, the week I bought a POD XTlive I tripped over the power chord and ripped the power jack right off the PCB. A quick call to line 6 and they mailed me a jack for free, no...

    RECORDERMAN´s method with Omnis?

As always when using omni's your room is going to play a larger role to the sound then if you were using cardioid's, so if your room isn't so great, the results could be poor. Other then that, go try it! I've been wanting to try that same thing with some naiants.

Upgrade from SP B1 to AT4040

I did the exact same thing a few years ago. From a B1 through my behringer to a AT4040 and a DMP3. I actually got the AT3035, and it was better then the B1, but not a whole lot. So I took it back and got the AT4040. I love it, you will definitely notice, especially once you start laying...

    Mic for recording Acoustic Guitar

The general concensus is to stay away from the PG series. I think a naiant mic (or two) could work well, especially in a good room. Also, take your pick of any of the $100 chinese LDC's. I've had good results a Studio Projects B1.

    i hate your kikc sound.

I think that clicky kick can be ok in some stuff(mostly that machine gun metal), but i hate it in general. The kick on Metallica's untitled album is amazing. See: Nothing Else Matters. I think it's purrrfect. And I agree about the guitars, A lot of the top40 rock/pop stuff has amazing guitars.
