Hello everybody.

I'm looking for record some great audio with my XLR mic and I was wondering which of these two would be better?
The Zoom H6 or something like a Juicelink or Beachtek?

Thank you for reading. :)

Doing the look up, it seems you are looking for a special audio interface. That being said, I ask the question, what are you trying to do?

Record dialogue inside and outside.

Personally I'd avoid both JuicedLink and Beachtek in favor of a one or two channel field mixer. Compare the functionality of an Azden FMX-22 ($294 after rebate) with what JuicedLink and Beachtek are offering.

If you're totly nuts (like me) you can get one of these!

Will the quality be that much better than an H6 or Juicedlink?

That's not my call but JuicedLink and Beachtek both originated in the consumer marketplace for casual users who wanted to use XLR microphones. Field mixers (which are much older and more mature in the marketplace) are targeted at professionals.

Both do the exact same thing to the extent of supporting XLR microphones that need phantom power for camcorders that may or may not offer XLR inputs. That $1,000 Sound Devices MixPre-D and the more popular (and more expensive) three channel 302 are ab-so-lute-ly top drawer industry standard audio gear. If you're crazy-flush with money you can always go with Zaxcom but you'll never see JuicedLink or Beachtek on any kind of a professional production except possibly a pr0n shoot. Nobody who makes their money with sound would touch 'em.
