Sorry, this is not really about recording but it is a soundcard issue. I am using an old Wamirack with Asio drivers in Win98se. This works pretty well for every application I am using except one. Whenever I try to watch a video on YouTube, the Adobe Flash Player practically locks up my computer. The video downloads extremely slowly, and even if I wait for a video to completely download, all I get are bleeps and blurps of audio and very erratic video as well. I know it's a soundcard issue, because it doesn't have a problem with my motherboard soundcard. I know what your thinking, but I'd rather have the onboard sound turned off to free up all the IRQs I can.
Do YouTube videos screw up your computer too?

well. does your soundcard have WDM drivers? there's no way that flash player is gonna use ASIO....i dont think. ha.
