I listened to this a week ago and something didn't sit right with me. I thought it was the lyrics, but that's bs. Then I thought it was the gentle vocal delivery, but that's not it either. I think it's the EQ on the guitar - that low B on the B chord is a bit too present, especially in the fingerpicking part - can you cut that a touch? If you did that, it would be less dominant relative to the vocal, and that would help, I think.

Ah yeh, that's interesting. I thought the low notes on the finger pick part were quite boomy as well. I'm guessing that's what you mean? I'll have a play around with it, thanks for having a think about it and letting me know.
