Yet another monitor question

Ah! But therein lies the reason for my decison of Bx8s in the first place. I can't afford the Bx5s and a sub. So my plan was to get the Bx8s and later, much later, add a sub.

BX5's and then save for a sub?
switch to Yorks?

Sweetwater sent me a quote at $339 and said they aren't discontinued?
 
Just because Musician's Friend is not going to sell them any more doesn't mean they're discontinued by M-Audio. Maybe Musician's Friend just isn't going to sell them any more?
 
You see the prices elsewhere? If Musiciansfriend not selling them I not not buying them.
 
Ok. I’m a little obsessed with the BX8s now. I admit I have a problem.
That said, what about using an external eq with them as the frequency chart comes with the Bx8s to get rid of the highs people seem to be talkiong about?
