It's as good as it is, for as long as it lasts.
Yesterday I was hitting the thrift stores, and I came across a Yamaha EMX5000-20. Other than dusty, it looked pretty good. Based on the fader tags, it came from a church. There was no price on it so I walked up to the counter and asked the woman how much they wanted. She said $20, and didn't know if it worked. I found the power cord and took it to an outlet and plugged it in. It lit up when I turned it on, so I bought it.
Carrying it out of the store, I was thinking this thing weighs a ton (I didn't know it was a powered mixer). I got about a mile down the road and realized I forgot to pick up the manual that was laying beside it. So I turn around and go back to get it. That was a waste if time, because later when I looked at it, I discovered it was in French.
Long story short, all the channels, and effects do work. I don't have speakers so I have not tested the power amp. I down loaded the manual in English last night and have been reading through it. Pretty cool find.
