WTB: Gibson Les Paul

Okay, here's the deal. I've been searching for quite a while for a Les Paul that screams buy me. I have found that a few times only to procrastinate a bit and it end up selling out from under me. My objective is to buy a Les Paul that I'll be happy with for a LONG time. That being said, I want what I want and I don't want what I don't want.

Things I Don't Want:

- Studio models
- Cherry, honey, iced tea burts of any type (tobacco is okay with a decent flame figure)
- Plain top with no figure
- No solid color finishes (black, white, gold top)
- Gold hardware (unless it's a Custom...but a Custom with nickel is a big plus)
- 50's baseball bat neck
- No cracks or crack repairs
- No chambered guitars
- No retro-fit trems, Bigsby's, etc

Things That Are A Plus:

- Classic Custom Silverburst with Custom Binding
- Wine Red
- Nickel Hardware
- Flame figure or an interesting figure
- Custom binding
- Early 2000's or older year models

Alright...so, as long as it's not in my "Things I Don't Want" list, it's open. However, I can and probably will amend both of my lists. Hopefully there is someone out there selling what I want at a fair price. It must come with a Gibson Les Paul case if not the original one. Also, it has to be in good to near mint condition.

I have A Standard LE that might be for sale. Looks just like this pic-

What's an LE?

A jewel of the Les Paul Standard family.

The feel and soundÿcome from a slim '60s neck design with a smaller peghead and BurstBuckerÿPro pickups that are double-potted for a tighter, balanced, biting tone with more midrange. Mahogany body and neck. Metal button Kluson tuners. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

Hey NL,

Looks awesome, that's the Midnight finish isn't it?

The last LP we imported was a Pacific Reef Std LE, this was before the Aust., importers even had them. It's an all round great guitar.

Ebony fretboards are interetsing, that LE is swwwwweeeeeeeet.

Closing this thread cause I just bought a Gibson Les Paul Custom. Mmmmmm
