Would (could?) this work to kill a resonance?

Anyone know or care to estimate if a slab of stone might kill this resonance?
The desk I have my DAW on like to couple' at around 120Hz. I was wondering if a slab of stone might be enough to kill it?
Just looking for informed best guesses here as it would be an easy (stable) fairly elegant solution if it would.
I was looking at 3/4" (20mm) stone. If it was just enough to cover the case's foot print that would be 9x18 at about 14lbs.
Next logical bump up -might actually be more desirable as it would add enough room to cover an external drive caddy. That would be 13x28" at about 32lbs.
I was assuming some anti-skid pad between the stone and the desk.

I would think that stone, being very solid would just transmit the vibration right through, but maybe its the opposite?

I'm hoping that much mass wouldn't move- or sympathetically ring like the tabletop happens to.

I'm not an expert on such things by a longshot, but I've done plenty of experimenting.

I would mix textures and hardnesses -- A slab of stone sitting on mouse pads for example. Flexible layer / rigid layer seems to work better than rigid/rigid (at least with what I've messed with).

And of course, making sure all the bolts are tight...
