Hello All, this is my first post,I have been using Cubase SX3 for some years and am perfectly happy with it. My computer is getting a bit long in the tooth
(Pentium 4 3gb 2gb ram XP Pro) I am going to build a new computer and all I need to know will SX3 work with Vista and windows 7

I don't have a good answer for you but I have seen talk on the forum that a lot of people are going back to Windows XP I don't know the reason why because I record and mix in analog. Do a search on the forum and you'll find some good info.

Dont know about Windows 7 yet, but yes I have tried it on my vista system and it does work. Had a couple of audio glitches but I think it was my sound card. I also have a MBox2 audio interface, no problem with it. Vista is a resource hog though, if you do go with it I would recommend you get a dual or quad core processor, (or more), and all the ram you can get. Youll need it!!!!

It will work with Windows 7 , Windows 7 has a XP compatibility mode that lets you run ALL XP software unlike Vista, Windows 7 also uses much less resources than Vista , .....

:D
