Can they get along?

I have a new computer running Windows 7. I installed my copy of Sonar 4 "Producer" and also installed my stereo (two-track) M-Audio Delta sound card on it and (after some bumps in the road) I got it all working. Now I have a Phonic Helix Board 18 that I am having difficulty getting to work with Sonar 4.
Sonar recognizes the Helix and allows me to select tracks for input, but it won't actually record. When I switch back to the old M-Audio to record, it works fine.
I want more than two tracks though!
Any suggestions for a newbie?

When I first got my helix, channels 1-2 were still mapped to my old sound card, and 3+ were all working. I just never used 1-2 for anything, the rest of the channels were plenty anyway. I eventually re-formated my c: drive and re-installed windows (xp), but I disabled the soundcard in bios first, so the OS didn't even know it existed. Now I have all channels working normally. IDK about windows 7, if there's asio drivers for W7 then you shuld be ok.
