AHH, im in the middle of recording, and randomly a track will solo, and when i unsolo it, it solos itself. so then ill try and delete the track, and create some more. but now the track in the place of the first one starts soloing it self. what the heck is wrong. this is annoying as hell.

im using Logic pro 7, with a tascam US2400. with a motu 828mkii

It's a longshot, but check your computer keyboard and the key for whatever Logic's shortcut key for "select track" or "solo track" may be. Make sure there is nothing inadvertantly nudging that key (like a stray mouse cord or guitar pic). Maybe pop the key cap off and blow the dust and grime out of the key mechanism.

Does Logic support automation of the solo button? I wouldn't have thought that would ever be useful enough for them to do so, but... if so, try stripping the automation info and/or disabling solo automation. (I don't use Logic, so don't ask me how.)

ill try making sure a key isnt sticking. but this is a new keyboard, and it happend this time last year too....on a different keyboard.

and no i dont think logic has automation for the solo button. but all automation is turned off.

A good ol' winter static charge zapping a signal through your keyboard, perhaps? An anti-static pad and/or grounding strap at your recording position would help that out.
