Such a happy place!
I have a V-Amp2 and a T1951 parametric EQ and they both work just fine.
The V-Amp is built very lightweight so I'm careful not to bang it around. But it sounds just as good if not better than my POD or my J-Station or my Digitech whatever the hell it is.
And the T1951 works nicely also ...... fairly transparent and useful for those times when you need to tweak a specific part of the spectrum. It has a tube so I'm gonna open it up to see if they did that LED thing but I don't really care ...... I hardly want a hotly driven tube in my signal chain anyway. It's just cosmetics and we all like our gear to look cool.
Personally, I would have no hesitation in buying another piece of B-gear if that's waht my budget allowed.
Certainly if I have more money available then almost everything that costs more is better.
But for live work and a non-commercial project studio, it'll get the job done if you know what you're doing.
