Why does this hurt my ears?

Geezers are people who managed to survive past adolescence by wearing helmets when motorcycling, actually obeying "Don't Walk" signs, recognizing extreme skiing for the stupidity that it is and otherwise making boring decisions that free them to continue to express their opinions and influence their world past the age of 30 while watching the newest batch of kids find new ways of exiting the gene pool. If you're hoping to avoid this horrible fate I bet you'll get a lot of support from the geezers on this forum and elsewhere.

That said, I still turn to the local metal station late at night to listen to screamo/screamcore/cookie monster/death metal/black metal/speed metal stuff with the volume all the way up once in a while. I mean, I can't listen to Winger 24/7/365, can I?

So what was it that I said that hurt your feelings? Was it the "geezer" comment? Because I can explain if it will make you feel better. Since this is all real life and we're destined to become best-buddies, I don't want you to get the wrong impression.

Ahh, yes, that would be me. Except, for me, extreme skiing is double diamonds with one ski (because the other fell off when I got off the lift :o )

Great lets see 5 espressos in the morning then an other dozen or so through out the rest of the day X 10 years comes to :eek: we need bigger cupboards!!!
