I'm in the process of putting together a DAW (see attached, minus the monitors & add Sonar instead of GTP) and just stumbled upon the new SI-24 at a local shop. Unfortunatly, they don't have a PC to fire it up on, so I was unable to really check it out.
The owner's manual wasn't very helpful and neither was their site (which always locks up on my computer), so I'm hoping someone here could give me a good run-down. Is it bundled with software? I have the impression that it comes with Logic, which I don't know the first thing about, and that it can also run Cakewalk software; how about plugins? Would I need anything else to go with it, or is it a complete package?
Any info would be appreciated.
