I use Zoom505-II and Revalver to get the guitar sound.

BTW, I updated the song on NWR, so the drums are louder. Maybe too much louder. I'm not that good at determining the right levels. Just tell me if it's overkill now, ok? :)

And I'm glad at least two people besides me liked the whistling :D

Yeah! It sounds better... I downloaded both versions just in case.

I like it more and more every time I hear it. There is some minor crackling in some of the cleaner parts, but if no one else mentions it, I wouldn't worry about it.

killer tune, we'll talk soon..

I first started listening at a fairly low volume...and it seemed to lack any butt kicking....I nudged the volume knob up....things all fixed;)
things are pretty together up to the clean part, and played pretty well. The lead in the clean sections bites, ...sounds like you really struggle...in contrast to the beautiful lead following at around 1:40. That section is very nice and seems like a different player do the leads. The melodies are really nice. Very nice music. At the 3 min mark now...and things kick up to gear again...and I'm wondering...how did that earlier lead slip by you..?
I think the drum programming is good, and compliments the tight parts you put with it at times. volumes ok with me too. this is kinda like a medley of sorts...isn't it? Hey!!! at 4:20...you sound like Sabbath!! ha!! oh my...Andy Griffith meets the terminator....
Lots of ideas here. A whole album of this might be tough to digest, but for 5 minutes, it was fun.

now..go back and fix that ugly lead you did earlier:D

Fellow Maiden fan huh! sounds great, nice work on the drums. Even though its called whistlers revenge, I don't like that part of song. all the others are great and the transitions between them work for me, the mix sounds great to, I'd like to hear a little more volume on the first change-over, it drops a little too low- not good for late night listening.

I really suck when I play cleanly. I hide behind my distortion like a good heavy metal dude should :D . Nevermind that comment, I really should pay attention to clean stuff more.

Yeah, I guess it sounds that way. I shoud call it "Medley of Songs Not Existing", or something :)

Maybe... We'll see, if I can come up with some sort of super powers, or come up with a nice melody for the part. (You're talking about the clean solo just before the distant distortion solo with clean backing guitars, right?)

Kick Ass! This song was very good.. I agree about some of the cleaner playing, but it is a above average song. I agree with Sabbath. Vocals may not be bad. nice drums sounds. Add this to the list of great music I have heard here.
