Well, I have several applications that will convert a WAV to MP3. Audacity, for example, will do so and it allows me to enter my information about the file (i.e., title, author, etc.), but, it doesn't allow for selecting the bit rate. In most of the applications I've seen, it seems it's either one or the other, but there are a few, like Streambox Ripper, that will do both. Unfortunately, as I said above, I'm getting an error when I attempt to use Streambox. Otherwise, it would be fine for my needs.
Gordone, will dbPowerAmp also allow me to enter my track information? Also, I didn't say I was expecting any application to enter my track information for me. How would that happen?! Of course I have to enter it myself. What I'm bitching about is the fact that most of these converters don't allow me to do so. There simply is not provision for entering anything.
Shackrock, I looked all over the WinLame interface and never found any provision for entering track information, nor did it prompt me for any during the process of conversion. Where, exactly, is this feature hidden?
