Warmer in tone and sounds awesome on practically every source.
The other one might have more options, but they're to cover the lousy performance.

I just wish there was some way to get the reliability and clarity of one with the unique features of the other...without expensive swedish mods.

I saw one of those on ebay once for dirt cheap, and was going to buy it to do the swedish mods myself, but somebody outbid me at the last second

The bottom one is better. If you don't like the way it sounds you can manipulate it to your liking.
