Hello,
I work with sampled environmental sounds, some analog instruments and vox, and a variety of weird digitally generated/manipulated noises. So far most of my mixing for CD purposes has been done with Pro Tools Free on my PC, then mastered and finalized with various pieces of software (T-Racks, Sound Forge, etc...). But at this point I am looking at possible live shows and want to integrate both digital sources, mics, etc... and want to get a quality mixer.
Can anyone give me some advice as to a particular brand or model I should look into for this application? Or features I should definitely keep in mind. I am thinking of spending tops - the $500.00 range. Anyone know of good sale or used equpiment sources?
Thanks - John
