Hi to everyone!

I want to buy a microphone for vocal. I'm thinking between shure sm57 - mxl V67i - AT3035, maybe some AT40xx if on ebay will have a good offer. You can recommend other mics...
The mic I'll use just for homerecording, not for live...
I know, that the shure sm7 will be the best choice, but this is expensive for me, and for the sm7, I must buy a cloudlifter too, or something that...

The metal is a wide palette... for vocal like in Lordi, what is your suggestion.

Whether or not you need a cloud lifter will depend on the preamp/interface you're using and how much gain it has.
What have you got?

What is your room like? Echoey?

I have scarlett 2i4, which is 55 dB.
I'm sorry, but I don't what means echoey :(
For vocal recording, I'll use a guest room, becouse there not hearing the voice what the PC, or other stuffs make. The room is furnished.

Shure SM7B as first choice but if you don't have the budget for it i'd go for the Shure SM58!
