I currently use the EQ that is on my adobe audition...but was wondering if this is a good enough tool?

None. I mix it the way I want it to sound. Why would I then add EQ?

Hi,
As MM was implying......(How does it sound?), use eq to taste.
If you find that you didn't need it in the end, you're probably on the right track!......well done!

Superspit.

Audition's Graphic EQ and Parametric worked fine for me.
I use the straight AUdition EQ, I strat with the 10-band for quickly getting close, then move up to the 20 and 30 to trim in. As has been said, hopefully you never need much EQ at all, but it can be a good tool in careful and delicate hands..

I have more broblem, but I can not post new thread ( I dont know why :( ), so post here :D
can AA make a bad guitar sound become pro?
my guitar with no effect:
(280 KB)
can AA make my guitar sound become better, near to the sound in this song:
(300 KB)
I know broblem here is quality of my guitar, and hardware. But I wonder wether AA can make it become better without a good guitar, pro hardwares.
If possible, tell me what preset for setting. (detail howmuch reverb, EQ or other)
I add some EQ, reverb, and delay but it don't like much:
(280 KB)

Yes...what do you think the "pro" button is there for?

Make sure you click the button with the little brain on it so it's able to read your mind and get the exact sound that you want. Lots of people forget that part.

Yes, he's joking. Cleverly, too.

To answer your question: if you record a bad sound, it's almost impossible to improve it in the mix.
