Man its been slow round here the past couple dayz my guess would be that most of yall are tryin to get back on da ball and be that fyre that you know you can be...Anyways I go back to school Tue. and Im lookin for a decent mic so I can show my skillz(yall sleepin) Also when it comes to makin beats what is the perfect compliment to a trumpet as far as sounds or is a trumpet just not worthy...
 
Depending on the melody you could go a lot of different methods with that. You could use any other brass instrument to compliment it, maybe some soft keys too or even some strings.

by the way, how in the hell do u get that "whistle" note that all the dirty south beats have in em?
 
yep - to go w/ a trumpet, i'd say a french horn, trombone, or some soft strings.

the whistle note could be a high-pitched solo string. not sure though.
