Where, pray tell, is the Stephen Paul microphone??

Last I heard it was due out in February '04. The web site has not been updated to my perception. The web site claims that production will begin 'shortly', which puts a rather new spin on that word.

Is this mic, Lord forbid, vaporware??

Just before Alan's forum on rec.org got "bigtree'ed", someone asked about the mic, and Alan said that there were still some issues with getting things built within tolerances (IIRC).

I don't recall exactly what the wording was, but the message was "be patient".

It's not costing me anything to be on the waiting list, so I'll do just that.
