Seems like fif-ty entered two months before

And now....there's none to be seen.....:)

Well actually....there are exactly four of them done.......that's about the same completion rate as Tim Couch I believe. :D
 
We were doing one, got put on the back burner it appears. Glad to know I'm not the only one actually. But, I know, I've been wanting to hear all these collabs! It was a cool idea.

AL, IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE CLEAR YOUR INBOX!

Your track labeled bass is actually piano, and there's no bass track. And I still need the lead vocal track that was omitted from the CD. After 3, actually 4 as of yesterday, PM attempts in approx. two weeks I've all but given up. Plus I posted a thread asking you to clear your PM's, which of course I nuked the next day. I know you're a busy man, but for the love of GOD, let's finish this thing.... I'm not mad or anything....

Progress has been a bit slow, but steady. Motorcycle accidents, and unexpected road trips haven't helped.:eek:

Basic song is is done, just hashing out lyrics.;)
 
Daf and I are ON baby!! Lotta work both on tune... and real life. It still has a bit of tracking to go on the vocal side, may be jus a little later than we anticipated. However, we coming along with it, and will deliver!!!

{actually, he wanted banjo on the damn thing...which means I have to learn how to play the fucking thing first!}
(sorry boydrj...we'll get it happening before 04!)

Toki's covering for me - I f#$%ed up the separate tracks I was supposed to send - every stinking track had the full horn section on it!!! Found out the hard way that soloing tracks in Acid 4.0 doesn't shut off the Busses...

I posted clean piano and organ mp3s (160k - it'll have to do) for him today. But the delay is all my fault...

it aint no worry, still got that vocal session coming too. :)

All I`m worried abut now is delivery on all the choir robes, the white stretch caddy, and our new 'fro wig hats, and the "tv grade" chains and pendants...

Actually, you know I`m kiddin :). This is both Great Fun and extremely hard work for me since I`m just a picker and a hard core listener, and not a real engineer. Daf has worked his butt off on this one. He comes up with tons of cool parts in the score. Hopefully I`ll do him some justice with my meager mixing abilities.

well my partner, erichenryus, disappeared and I decided not to go back begging for a new partner and coming up with a new concept.

We had gotten up to the concept part but had not laid down any tracks. We had a bit of a challenge since we were both vocalists and not instrumentalists.

So I concieved of something acappella...and strange. I took a medieval polyphonic piece from Thomas Tallis in TTBB and changed the words to be about surfing, and planned to vocalize it with lots of Beach Boys style flourishes.

Wow. I love Tallis. That's a really sick and twisted concept - can't wait to hear what it sounds like.:D

If the collab falls through, post it on your own - I have some non-HR pals who might get a real kick out of it (or who might call for your head on a stick LOL)...
