Hi guys, im new to AA 1.5 and im kind of lost :( jejejeje

heres the Q: Where are the noise gate located???

cuz i was told that if i put noise gate in every track before i record,
it only record the things that i sing and not the stats or any other lower noise in the room.

if is possible and someone could explain it to me a bit better
of how this works i would really appreciated.

thanks in advance :)

Read the manual. Seriously. I'm sure its in there, unless Audition doesn't have built in noise gates.

I'm not sure if audition comes with a gate but if you need info on how to work one and what exactly it does go to www.tweakheadz.com and read tweak's guide. Its very very helpful when you're just getting started.

I really wouldn't advise recording with an active noise gate in the chain. Too much potential for cutting off beginnings and endings of phrases and lower-level stuff (unless you set it to be really non-agressive).

In fact, I wouldn't use a noise gate on a vocal at all. Much more precise and just as easy (with vocals) to hand-edit out bits of silence. Noise gates are more useful on things like individual drum tracks (snare, kick) than they are on vocals.

Thank you very much guys i will try every thing and see what i get by recording w/ noise gate and without the noise gate to see the diffrents.

any other advise would be appreciated as well.

Thanks again guys :)
