When I select my interface in preferences (ur12), there are no longer any inputs or outputs. Any input would be great!

Make sure that you're selecting the ASIO driver in the top drop-down box, then your device's specific drivers in the next drop-down box in the Reaper audio devices menu.
If they're still not showing up, make sure that the device is powered up, plugged in, and shows that a USB connection is established with the computer (should be some sort of USB indicator light on the UR12).
