when i press the space bar i want it to stay where it is

Does anyone know how to get the transport to stay where it is when i press the stop button. I don't want it to start from the previous play point. I want it to stop where i left off.

I have about 5 min of audio and if i'm playing it and i get to a point where i want to stop i want it to stay where i stoped...But right now it goes back to the start point. I guess you could say i want to pause it.

hope somone understands what i'm getting at.

Options > Global. Uncheck the box marked "on stop, rewind to now marker."
