Hello:
HS2004XL
Edirol PCR80 keyboard
Yamaha DX200 sound module
I'm trying to play the keyboard, have midi go to the DX200, and NOT the Edirol Virtual Synth track in HS.
I've set the keyboard transmit channel to ch. 3, the DX200 to recieve ch. 3, and then, in HS track view, on the Edirol Synth track, I've set the input to ch.1.
For some reason my Keyboard will play the Edirol Synth in HS anyway. If I open up Edirol synth screen, it shows that channel 3 is playing.
Shouldn't my settting the input for the track to ch. 1 have blocked channel three from getting through to the Edirol Synth?
I've tried setting the track inputs, bank channel, whatever else there is there (I'm not a my home computer now) to "none" or all to ch. 1, and just about everything else I can think of in that screen, but I can't get the Edirol synth to not respond to my Keyboard.
The DX200 to the keyboard if the keyboard is set to ch. 3, doesn't if I change the keyboard channel.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Bill
