What's goin' on with everybody

OK that's frickin cooler than a mule.. How much?? I'm a big RO fan been doing that for almost 40 years now
That unit would be pushing $3K w/tax If I purchased through Amazon. If I could only budget $2 more per month I might could swing that.

Try this : Fill a pitcher with sea water (directly from the ocean) and put it in a freezer. When Ice forms remove the ice, thaw and drink the melted fresh water.

Edit: Actually, the ice needs to be removed from the unfrozen portion of sea water, melted and repeat the process removing ice as it forms. Each freezing further reduces salination, so repeat the process until salination level is acceptable for drinking water.

Sea water? What sterilizes it? I have seen frozen fish come back to life. It would need to be boiled no?

Yeah mine was 2K. Absolutely pure water from the moisture in my basement air.

When I was house hunting, I found an interesting solution for would be bachelors. I found a 1Br 1 Ba BASEMENT home. 950 sq/ft..attached garage.

Heat Pump! it used the 15psi from ground weight to compress/heat a tube. A valve lets air current pass. Free heat all winter. Basement homes stay naturally cool all summer.

Tesla battery bank and solar panels with Illinois $22,000 credit. Work the numbers on the principle. Free electricity. Just line maintenance fee.

There was an article about the buyer. It went for $32k. Sold in 9 days. Thats it. Man, anyone could afford that bad ass property. 1 hour from Chicago.

$32k...thats what ..180 a mo on a car loan(kidding)? Pay it off in 5 years working at Home depot(500 a mo/ serious). A mans launch pad to the stars and beyond. Taxes were like $300 a year.

Yall understand once you own a house you can borrow against it?
Yall uderstand that you can go bankrupt over and over and they cannot take your house.

get a equity loan for 30k to start 'a business'. take that 30k to the casino. Roulette. Always bet on black...chances are like 50/50 you get free home..Kidding for sure.

Don't forget those two Green numbers.... they skew the odds to the house. It becomes about 47-48% with the rest going to the casino. There's not a casino game out there that is even odds to win. Blackjack is about the closest to even odds of any of the games if you really know how to play it. If you can count a 6 deck shoe, the odds get better.

A friend of mine was up $10K last year when we were in Vegas. I even got a pic of his two $5K chips. That was the first night. The second night, his mood changed drastically, after he gave it all back.

The Powerball and MegaMillions are about $200 million each. You could probably net around 50 million with the cash option after taxes. Then you really don't have to even worry about budgets.

Yes, I did this too! You get all high and go up to the room with your buddies and take pics of the chips.. why?

My son asked me if I could bring him a couple of $5 poker chips to use as ball markers on the golf course. I sent him the pic, and asked "would these do?"

You know I work at an RO Plant, right?
I knew you managed the water for the college but did not know you were doing RO ...me likey the RO but you could probably tell me reasons I shouldn't. We were doing the bottled water back in the day when the kids were little..Then a company called Mountain fresh had a deal where they set up their RO unit under your sink and charged like $25 a month..After a few years and a few price increases it was easy to see we'd be better off buying our own unit and the rest is history. When I replumbed for the remodel I moved the RO out side next to the tankless and the whole house filter so they are all in one place...have the RO going to the kitchen sink and the fridge and plan on it feeding a drinking faucet out by the pool in the backyard eventually.

As long as you're re-mineralizing it it's the same as bottled water.

Yep I have a mineral filter after it goes through the RO ...Covina has it's own irrigation company and artesian wells though we do tap into the LA supply...
We also have a lot of ground contamination here in the valley.... perchloroethylene used at the dry cleaners was dumped in the ground back in the day so just to be sure we ain't sucking down chemicals we do the RO Now since you are the hoodoo guru of agua I'd appreciate your advice on what I should use to remove the calcium for the water pre the tankless water heater. I've been looking at those spin down filters and the Polyphosphate stuff... Thoughts?

RO removes everything other than the water molecule and gas.

California's water issues are so bad...

HOW BAD ARE THEY !!! ????

They're so bad..

California can no longer fall into the ocean when the big one hits because there won't be an ocean when the big one hits.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled calamity :D

This guy I knew at work Rob, took a shit in the public works reservoirs. In the building, in the standing tanks, post treatment. So you never can tell whats going on. Since then I make my own drinking water.

Somebody somewhere must have been like...' does this water taste shitty to you?'

Another reason never to eat out or eat ready made food. Own food only.
