I was wondering if someone in here may have any of the following cheap products.
Alesis Monitor One MK2 $169
Roland MA12C $159
Sampson Resolv 65 passive Studio monitors
I need something cheap but yet Still be able to mix good on them.
If someone may have another suggestion, please do so.

Thanks,

Forget those -- check out a pair of Yorkville YSM-1s -- probably the best bang-for-your-buck in terms of budget nearfields........

Could you point me in the direction to find these.Musicians friend does not carry Yorkville

sheets of clay

If the Mk2s are supposably better and improved than the Mk1s according to musicians friend how come the price is so much lower

i own the samson resolv 65as....very enjoyable

Thanks for the info guys.Iam noticing some of the monitors are bi-amped does this mean you dont have to hook up a seperate amp.

no extra hook-ups.
an active monitor that is bi-amped has two amps inside it, one for the low frequencies going to the woofer (usually the bigger of the two amps), and one for the high frequencies that go to the tweeter. The freqs. are split by a crossover.
the reasoning behind this is more bass for your buck.

THANKS JIMBO,
I wish they would explain these things in the mags I get.Iam not looking for anything great so something like this sounds like a better deal.
