Has anyone seen the new G hero "Power Gig"?
Now they have a real guitar (First act ~ the company that makes guitars for wal mart).
It's a sad, sad world. :(
Damn And a Boston based business at that. Maybe I'll go and get a job.
.....Wait a minute .... there just may be a bigger market in setting those guitars up in the after sales market. custom painting, custom neck and fingerboard work ~ Light bulb above my head ~
That's it! I'm going into the Guitar hero guitar modding business!!!

See you guys later.
This is going to be the first real guitar that many many children will have this X-mas.

Well to be honest I think that it would be an improvement.

I know people at work who spend hours playing guitar here and are not learning anything. I've asked them before why they don't use the time they spend playing the game, to instead actually learn how to play (basic guitar is not that hard and does not take long)

At least in the advanced section of this game (chord mode) people would have to learn chords, so at least hey would be learning something useful.

I heard. I don't know if it's sick and twisted or if it'll get more kids to play.....
Here's an explanation of how it works:

Ha, here's one of the comments from that page....

Seven 45 Studios' next project is said to answer the calls from Wii shooter fans by developing a more realistic Wiimote gun caddy that fires real bullets. At any point players can stop just playing Cabela's Big Game Hunter and go outside and start blasting the real thing. "The genre is in decline," Seven 45 vice president of marketing told Kotaku, "But this will be the shot in the arm the genre needs.

You should sign up to be a beta tester moresound... we need someone to thrash out any "teething" problems...

Am I imagining it or does the new real virtuality guitar have a wider neck / string spacing than normal? Possibly it's just a small body making me thing that..

We'd better get Mutt's advice on how best to maintain one... :spank:

I heard of this a few days ago. I'm still waiting for the game where you can plug in any guitar you might have and actually play along with the songs, having it count points against you if you miss one of the notes or chords, rather than missing a button. The technology is out there - they just have to use the pitch detecting software they used in the games that incorporate singing to detect the pitch of the notes and chords you are hitting. This is getting closer, but is not quite it, but at least it's a step in the right direction. I'd be interested to try it out.

Or use the technology they have in synth pups. They send the individual notes from each string.

-Moresound- would those groupies be joystick controlled?:D

-Armistice- I think it's a 3/4 scale body, so the neck looks bigger. I didn't look that close.

-82 - That sound like a "trainer." Be a heck of a way to learn solos.
